We remodel kitchens in the Star City.
We're a kitchen remodeling contractor based in Roanoke, Virginia. We work throughout the city and the surrounding valley — Salem, Vinton, Hollins, Cave Spring, and the New River Valley communities to the southwest.
Roanoke has one of the most varied housing stocks in Virginia. The Norfolk and Western Railway drove explosive growth in the 1880s and 1890s, which means the older neighborhoods — Old Southwest, Grandin Village, Wasena, Norwich — have craftsman bungalows, brick foursquares, and Victorian-era homes that were built for working families and are still standing more than a century later. The postwar decades added ranches and capes on the north and west sides. The 1960s and 1970s brought split-levels and colonials into Cave Spring and surrounding Roanoke County.
Every era of that housing stock has its own structural logic and its own typical kitchen problems. We've worked in all of it. We know what to expect when we open up a 1920s bungalow in Grandin Village versus a 1958 ranch off Williamson Road versus a 1974 split-level in Cave Spring. That experience matters when the renovation gets into the walls.
How We Work
We run a single crew. You work with us directly — not a salesperson who hands you off to a subcontractor you've never met. When you call the number on this site, you're talking to the people who will do the work.
We give honest assessments. If your cabinets are worth keeping, we'll tell you. If the layout is the actual problem and new countertops alone won't solve it, we'll tell you that too. We're not in the business of selling you more renovation than you need, and we're not in the business of underselling a job to win it and adding costs later.
We handle the whole project. Demolition, structural work where needed, plumbing, electrical, cabinets, countertops, tile, paint — one contractor, one point of accountability, no coordination headache between trades.
Why the Kitchen
The kitchen is the room a house is organized around. It's where most of the daily activity happens, where guests end up regardless of where you point them, and where the condition of the house is most visible. In Roanoke's older neighborhoods especially, the kitchen is often the last room to have been updated — the bones are good, but the room looks and functions like it was designed for a different era, because it was.
A well-executed kitchen renovation changes how a home feels entirely. It's not cosmetic. It changes how you move through the house, how you cook, how you entertain. We take that seriously.
