Countertop Installation in Roanoke VA

Granite, quartz, butcher block, tile — fabricated to fit your kitchen and installed with the plumbing connections handled.

Countertops are the working surface of the kitchen and one of its most visible elements. The material you choose determines how the kitchen looks, how it functions, and how much maintenance it requires over time.

Countertop Materials

Granite

Natural stone, quarried and cut to your dimensions. Every slab is unique. Granite is hard and heat-resistant, but it needs to be sealed periodically to prevent staining. It's a durable choice for a working kitchen and has held its appeal through many design cycles — it doesn't look dated the way some materials from the 1990s do.

Quartz (Engineered Stone)

Ground quartz bonded with resin and pigments. Consistent color and pattern throughout, non-porous so it doesn't need sealing, harder to scratch or stain than granite. The most popular choice for kitchen renovations today. Available in a wide range of colors from natural stone looks to solid colors.

Butcher Block

Wood countertops — typically maple or walnut — that bring warmth and character to a kitchen. Works well as a prep surface or island top. Requires more maintenance than stone (oiling, occasional sanding) and isn't ideal for wet areas around the sink. Often used alongside stone as a mixed-material design choice.

Ceramic and Porcelain Tile

Durable, heat-resistant, and available in almost any look. The grout lines require more cleaning attention than a stone or quartz slab. Tile countertops are less common in new renovations today but remain a good choice in certain situations, particularly in period-appropriate kitchens in Roanoke's older homes.

What's Included in the Installation

A countertop job isn't just setting stone. We handle the complete scope:

Countertop Replacement vs. Full Renovation

Sometimes the cabinets are fine and the layout works — the countertops are just badly dated or damaged. A countertop replacement, combined with a new backsplash and updated hardware, can transform how a kitchen looks at a fraction of a full renovation cost. We'll tell you honestly whether that's the right scope for your kitchen or whether there are underlying issues that make a larger project the better investment.

Service Area
